Ambrosia's Story

Ambrosia Samson was kidnapped from her father Brock at around ten years old by rivals of the venture family, and ultimately, rivals of Samson himself (cue opening sequence from Madagascar 2). She is returned safely to her mother--unknown to Brock, who raises her as a single mother. As far as Brock knows, his daughter is as good as gone and constantly mourns her 'death' and grieves over her. The reason Ambrosia's mother never told Brock about the whereabouts of their daughter was because she felt that Brock's line of work was too dangerous for a child to be caught up in. Still, Ambrosia was close to her father and showed a tight-knit bond, often asking when she could see him again. Finally, at the age of twenty, she is given the coordinates of her father's location and sent there to reunite.

Relationship With Her Mother

Due to the sudden circumstances, Ambrosia's relationship with her mom is iffy, to say the least. Though she understands why she couldn't see her father, she finds it hypocritical since her mother was in the same line of work as an assassin. The only difference, her mother says, is that she left those days behind once she gave birth to Ambrosia, while Brock did not.
Though that's relatively true, she was still a part of an assassin group on the low during Ambrosia's teen years. Her mother works as a ceramics professor when she isn't busy killing.
